bone, stone & soma

200hr Non-Dual Tantra & Somatic Yoga Teacher Training
Hybrid training (in person and online)

A yoga teacher training with an emphasis on reconnection to land & language through the body, voice, ancient traditions & lived, felt-sense experience.

March-November 2027

There is a particular quality of awareness that is available only through deep listening and a commitment to unwavering presence.

The living teachings of non-dual Tantra offer us a roadmap through the terrain of mental constructs, inherited patterning and somatic memory, back to the sediment that rests at the core of our being ~ known by many as the Ground of Being, or the ground of all awareness.

Haṭha yoga is one effective tool we can use to navigate back through this wild landscape of body, mind & heart ~ not to tame them, but to come deeply into relationship with their every swelling hill and gushing river, the combination of which creates your unique expression in the world.

Somatics takes us a layer deeper ~ into the awareness of cells, the memory held in blood, bone, and organ body, and the fluids that hold it all together.

Together these pathways offer us both structural awareness and fluid, embodied gnosis; the ability to shape our mind, body and neural pathways in a direction of our choosing, and yet also the ability to deeply trust, revere and come into connection with the underlying intelligence that informs all of life.

Landscape of Body, & the Language of Soul

Connecting to the landscape of our bodies is the first step towards re-connecting to the land and landscapes we live on. When we understand our bodies as microcosms of the macro ~ smaller pieces of the larger earth body we live and love on ~ the gap between self, collective and environmental care gets smaller and smaller.

That is ultimately what Yoga & non-dual teachings are all about - cultivating a mindset and mode of perception which views ourselves as part of an interconnected whole - a forest of symbiotic beings, inevitably interconnected and yet each with individual gifts to express.

Uncovering the Inner Architecture

This yoga teacher training is first and foremost designed to offer you an embodied understanding of the architecture of your inner landscape, belief systems and patterns of expression; from Dense to Subtle body.

It’s a deep dive into the particular unique coding and patterning of cells and consciousness that have come together to express as You; a way of coming into relationship with all of life and the land around us, to embody more of what you are and have always been.

Pathways

From a practical perspective, the training will focus on offering you an experiential and embodied understanding of the teachings of classical hatha yoga, and traditional non-dual tantric philosophy.

These two paths can often seem contrasting - and yet when we look at both through a somatic lens, we understand that everything points back to the body; learning to decipher and decode it’s subtle intelligence, allowing ourselves to be guided by it rather than by external sources, whilst using ancient stories as guidelines and roadmaps to re-route outdated structures within & without.

LAND. LANGUAGE. LORE. LONGING.

explore the continuity between the imminent, the ancestral, & the ever-emergent field of creative potential

Driven by a love for the wild, ancient nature of things, this training explores the continuity between the imminent, the ancestral and the ever-emergent field of creative potential (iccha shakti) that is contained within & all around each human body & heart. It’s also a roadmap to better understand the bones, roots and interconnected support system innate to our being that allows us to move from the limited perception of our tiny selves, to the vast nature of reality and limitless potential of existence.

No biggie.

If you have been curious to dive into yogic study that invites you into relationship not just with more of yourself, but also the land you live on, more of Life and all the ways we are moved by and as it - then this training is for you.

  • Study the teachings and philosophy of traditional haṭha yoga alongside somatic inquiry and non-dual tantric philosophy

  • Explore facilitation as a co-creation between ourselves, the world around us and the spaces we hold

  • Explore what it means to approach Practice as both research and resource

  • Anchor yourself deeper into relationship with the land you live on, your body, and the wisdom of the interconnected threads that run between it all.

  • Begin your Irish-language learning journey through (optional) monthly language sessions alongside your yoga & embodiment journey

We begin with a weeklong immersive retreat-style experience in the wild Ox Mountains of Sligo.

Module 1 - will set the tone for the rest of the year - a weeklong immersive retreat experience where we get to drop into practice together on the land at Cabragh Lodge, Colooney, Co. Sligo from 20th-26th March 2027.

During this time we’ll orient ourselves to the group, to practice, and to Ayurvedic principals that will shape our routines as we move through the training (Dinacharya, Ritucharya, daily sadhana).

Module 2 - Will be delivered online from April-June 2027, in bi-weekly sessions on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings (every other week. Full list of dates below).

Module 3 - 24th-26th June in-person on the land weekend (camping) at Teacht Aniar in Killkenny, Ireland.

Module 4 - July - September online in bi-weekly sessions - every second Monday & Saturday, 7-9pm (Mondays) and 9-12pm (Saturdays).

Module 5 - October-November online & in person - final weekend in person in Sligo at Cabragh Lodge 26th-28th November 2027.

  • Study, practice and research as part of a community of likeminded individuals

Each module/month includes a variety of live lectures, practices, theory/philosophy sessions, sutra study and group facilitation practice, as well as some pre-recorded practices and recommended reading.

  • Somatic resourcing tools for teachers, drawing from basic neurocellular patterns & non-dual tantric techniques

  • Vishoka Meditation & Tantric Meditation (teaching and practice)

  • Embodied Anatomy Sessions

  • Teaching skills and ‘Finding Your Voice’ as a teacher

  • Basics of Sanskrit Language sessions and working with Mantra

  • Using practice as both resource and research

This is more than just a teacher training. It is an invitation to connect with the currents of awareness that underly and spur on all of our impulses, stories and patterns of relationship, both on and off the mat.

The desire to sense, feel, know and come into deeper relationship with this alive, awake creative awareness ultimately serves to connect us more to the unique texture and expression of Life that wants to unfold through and as you.
